Meghe Group Technical Institutions signed MOU with Reliance Power A MOU between Vidarbha Industries Power Limited, (VIPL) a Reliance Group Power Plant at Butibori has signed a MOU with Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur, Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering & Research, Nagpur, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Engineering & Research, Nagpur, Datta Meghe Institute of Engineering Technology & Research, Wardha, Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies, Nagpur on 19.08.2015 for a period of 2 years. The purpose of MOU is to increase Industry Institute Interaction.

As per the MOU, there will be one workshop per college, per semester as per the availability of the students, Faculty Development / Management Development Programmes in the ratio of 2:1. The Reliance Power Plant at Butibori will give Four Best Student Awards per year, per Engineering College. There will be Four Best Student Project Awards per engineering college, per year. Three students per college, per branch of Mechanical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies (DMIMS), Nagpur will conduct the programmes for Management Development for the staff of Vidarbha Industries Pvt. Ltd. (VIPL).

The MOU was signed by Plant Director, VIPL, Mr. B.S. Prasad and Dr. Avichal Kapur, Director General, NYSS. Prof. Jawed Sheikh, Director (Placement) MGI, Dr. Shantanu Khandeshwar, Director (Training) MGI, Mr. Neeraj Wakhare, TPO, YCCE, Mr. Sarang Sawangikar, AVP, HR & Admin. VIPL, Butibori, Nagpur, Mr. Tushar Somnathe, TPO, DMIETR and Mr. Anju Rai, TPO, RGCOER, were prominently present on the occasion.
TCS MOU extended for further 3 years A MOU between Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur, (YCCE) was renewed on 05.08.2015 for a period of another 3 years. The objective of the MOU is to increase TCS Academic Interface Programme (AIP) to the AIP Collaborating Institutes. TCS shall support the students and teacher communities through workshops, Faculty Development Programmes and Student Internship Programmes. Four Workshops per year, two Faculty Development Programmes, One Best Student Award, One Best Student Project Award, and also the Internship will be provided to the YCCE students by TCS.

The MOU was signed by Dr. U.P. Waghe, Principal, YCCE, and Mr. Nikhil Dabhole, Regional Head, Talent Acquisition-Western Region, TCS. Prof. Jawed Sheikh, Director (Placement) MGI and Mr. Neeraj Wakhare, TPO, YCCE, were prominently present on the occasion
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Selects record 193 Students from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE)A subsidiary of the Tata Group Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) an Indian Multinational Information Technology (IT) service, Consulting and Business Solutions Company operating in 46 countries visited Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering as the first day company for “Campus Recruitment Drive” for the 3rd consecutive year. After a 2 days rigorous selection process mapping the quality of students as per their norms and standards involving principles of Human Resource Development and Management 193 students of YCCE of 2015-16 batch were selected at package of 3.33 lakhs for UG students and 3.5 lakhs for PG students plus other incentives. This is the highest selection of YCCE students in a single first day company in the history of YCCE.

The students whole heartedly thanked Dr. Uday Waghe, Principal, YCCE, and T&P Team of YCCE for provided them this excellent opportunity and training and grooming them continuously since last one year.
