resource base on
leading software
technologies. It was
inaugurated by Mr.
Himanshu Goyal,
Country Manager IBM
– AIP Program on 26
June 2010 in
Department of
Computer Technology
under the
supervision of Dr.
Manali Kshirsagar
(Head of
Department).
The Single Point of
Contact (SPoC)
person from the
department is Prof.
Kavita R Singh, who
coordinates CoE. For
the co-ordination of
the work of this CoE
there are two Brand
Ambassadors Ms.
Shilpa Themdeo and
Mr. Shivanshu Singh,
appointed by IBM.
This Centre of
Excellence (CoE) at
YCCE Campus was
opened with the aim
of providing world-
class skills to
students on IBM
Technologies. The
centre provides an
opportunity for
students to learn
new skill-sets on
the latest
technologies and IBM
products. Our
college students
were benefitted with
DB2 & RAD programs
conducted by IBM
CoE. Tools like RAD
and many other tools
have facilitated the
students for their
projects. Many
projects are going
under TGMC.
